Within modern railways, the remote monitoring of all rail systems is becoming more and more critical. New control centres are being designed to incorporate a Central Control System (CCS) which provides monitoring and control of all rail systems including security/CCTV, power, public address (PA), customer information and assistance, lighting, radio and telecommunication systems.
