Within V/line, the Operational Communications Management System (OCMS) Asset stream accounts for all Operational Technology including Train Control, Communications, Security and Passenger Information.
L2iQ were engaged to assess the current Asset population and condition using desktop and physical audit techniques. Then developing a comprehensive asset register, systems architecture, asset management plan and 7-year forward estimate. These artefacts have been used to inform strategic funding bids, prioritise & improve maintenance activities and ensure the ongoing steady state operation of the OCMS asset class subject to funding availability.
