L2iQ has for the past 2 years provided maintenance and support services to Transport for New South Wales – Freight Access and Performance by undertaking preventive and corrective maintenance activities for 7 wayside noise monitors within the shared passenger and freight rail corridor in the greater Sydney region.
These systems located at strategic points in the rail network allow TfNSW to review noise profiles of passing freight trains and action noise complaints where necessary in line with its Strategic Noise Action Plan.
L2iQ is responsible for ensuring that these systems remain functional by utilising its considerable experience in asset management to maintain the physical, logical, virtual and configuration aspects of the system as well as conduct periodic remote monitoring and status reporting to the client.
